Yet another Representative has signed on to support Barney Frank’s IGREA bill. Representative James Moran of Virginia signed on to help this past Thursday. This happened right after the Poker Players Alliance held a conference in Washington D.C. Moran has not been a fan of online gambling in the past. He has agreed to stay in the Netherlands until he was transferred to France. Petter Nylander was on his way home to the UK when he was arrested by Dutch authorities on Tuesday. He was detained on charges of a warrant from 2006. It was a French warrant that was based on court filings by PMU the Francaise des Jeux and horse betting monopoly. They stated that Unibet had broken French National laws protecting lotteries and horse racing. The laws considered to be broken were from 1836 and 1891.
