Germany loosens Online Gambling Rules, France Doesn’t

Players who like to online gamble have won a small battle Wednesday. Germany has softened their rules on online gambling while France hasn’t budged much. The German court ruled this week in favor of an online gambling company in German and French budget minister reiterated that France wants to continue restricting most online gambling.

Massachusetts Governor Wants An Anti-Online Gambling Clause

Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick has proposed a bill to allow resort-style casinos into the state and he had expected some opposition. He just didn’t think the opposition would come from gamblers. The problem they have with the “Act Establishing and Regulating Resort Casinos in the Commonwealth” is that there is a clause that is buried deep within the bill that would make online gambling illegal.

Women Rob Poker Game Stealing over $20,000

Two women decided to rob a poker game during the early morning hours of November 1st. The robbery happened in West Virginia in Putnam County. The two woman,Kimberly Steinbrecher and Jacqueline Dennis , dressed in camouflage clothing and stole $27,000 from six men who were playing a game of poker. The women robbed the men at gunpoint.

Steinbrecher was arrested and charged with two counts of armed robbery but Dennis is still on the run. The sheriff of Putnam county [...]

WTO Ruling May Come By The End Of The Month

Mark Mendel, who is an attorney representing Antigua and Barbuda in the World Trade Organization disagreement against the United States over online gambling, said that he thinks that the arbitration panel ruling in this matter will be delivered on November 30.

New Jersey Man Killed at a NYC Underground Poker Club

Last Friday at an underground New York City poker club there was an armed robbery. It resulted in the death of a well-liked Wayne, New Jersey man when one of the robber’s guns accidentally went off. In the mean time, a vast investigation and manhunt are being conducted for the robbers and killer. No on is in custody as of right now.
