The Poker Players Alliance (PPA) will soon be moving, and changing leadership. In the very near future, the PPA will relocate from San Francisco, California to their new home and headquarters in Washington D.C. this will allow the PPA to become more centralized and continue their fight for online poker rights right there in the main boxing ring, in DC.
Michael Bolerek has stepped down, and will no longer be the president of the organization, he will remain in California with his wife and children in pursuance of other Bay Area opportunities. John Pappas, will now be the Executive Director of the PPA, leading their efforts, and fighting for our rights to online poker in DC.
Before he came to the Poker Players Alliance, Pappas worked as an outside consultant for the PPA, later he became their VP, and now fittingly, the Executive Director. Alfonse D’Amato, former Senator, will continue on, serving as Chairman for the Poker Players Alliance who’s main cause is the re-legalization of online poker and all other forms of safe and responsible online gambling.
