For the poker players out there that are unable to make it to the World Series of Poker this year don’t worry because Bodog has got you covered. The online gambling website has just announced that it will put on its own version of the World Series of poker and have events that coincide with the popular tournament. The Bodog tournament will be unique though in its own right because they will not be calling it the world series of poker. The name of the tournament is called the Mini-SOP and mini does tell the truth, because Bodog will not have buy-ins that will cost as much as the World Series of Poker.
The price for admission for these mini tournaments will almost be 1% of the actual cost of a World Series of Poker event and will range from $10+$1 all the way up to $100+$9. The MINI-SOP will start on May 30th with the Pot-Limit Hold-em event that will also coincide with the World Series of Poker’s $10,000 Pot-Limit Hold-em World Championship event.
For the players that do not want to come out and buy directly into one of these tournaments because they do not want to risk more many then they have to can also try there luck or skill at one of the many satellites that will be running.
