Poker Stars, one of the largest online poker rooms in the world, has released the much awaited full Mac version of their online poke software. Poker Stars has been working on the software for a long time, undergoing months of beta testing, which began in December of 2007, in their efforts to have the software completely perfect for its full release.
This news has brought an excitement to Mac poker players everywhere who have long been limited on their online poker options, especially in the US where many Mac compatible poker rooms do not operate. In addition, whereas many poker rooms have tried making lesser quality no-download versions of their software for Mac users, Poker Stars has gone the extra step to make their Mac software a downloadable and high quality affair, joining Full Tilt Poker among the major sites to offer downloadable Mac software.

PowerPC G4, PowerPC G5 or Intel Mac
512 MB RAM
1024×768 resolution
60 MB hard drive space
56k internet connection

Wow, Pokerstars finally has the Mac compatible poker software complete! I’ve been waiting for the release of Mac Pokerstars for a very long time now. Your updates go back as far as November 2006 and it’s now September of 2008. Pokerstars.com has worked hard on perfecting the Macintosh client… I’m going to download it right now.
I just downloaded the new Pokerstars on my MacBook but it just doesn’t want to connect 🙁
