The Full Tilt Online Poker Series has now ended Event #6. The event had a $500+$35 entry fee and the set-up of the tournament was a Pot Limit Omaha six-max event, which is now a days becoming more and more popular online then ever before. Why is this you ask? Well some of the regulars that play Pot Limit Omaha say that most players that play are not as good, it’s kinda like how it was when the game of Texas Hold em’ started to become more widely popular. It’s said most people use Texas Hold em’ strategy when playing Pot Limit Omaha and that is just the way for a player to lose his/her entire bankroll. Well the popularity was evident during the Full Tilt Online Poker Series Event #6 when it drew 642 players and with such a large entry fee. The prize pool however did fall just short of its listed $350,000 guaranteed prize pool.
When the final table began for Event #6, it was Brent “broberts85” Roberts who was leading in the chip counts by a very small margin. However “broberts85” was able to knock out three out of the five other players at the final table before heading to heads up play between fellow online player “thecranium”. The battle between the two online players was not long at all and in the end the tournament trophy went to Brent “broberts85” Roberts, also he received the $75,250 first place prize.
