Poker After Dark Season 5

Last season during Poker After Dark season four we saw the very first two cash game formats in Poker After Dark history and well let me tell you they were a huge hit. Well it is now time for season five of Poker after Dark and the producers have decided to bring back more then just two weeks dedicated to the cash game format on Poker After Dark. Also it is being said that supposedly they are going to be having more cash game formats than the usual freeze out style sit-n-go where each player buys in for $20,000 and its then a winner take all tournament.

During this season you are going to see some new faces on Poker After Dark including online phenoms Taylor “GreenPlastic” Caby , Cole “CTS” South and David “Raptor” Benefield. You will also be seeing Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies, Arnold Thimons, Bob Safai, John Phan, Kenny Tran, Max Pescatori, Dario Minieri and Ivan Demidov. There will also be some celebrities that will be making an appearance and they are Jason Alexander, Don Cheadle and Orel Hershiser.

Below is a list of some of the tables that you will be seeing played and if it is a cash game it will be marked. Let me warn you as well that Phil Hellmuth will be playing at a lot of tables so you will be seeing a lot of blow ups.

1. RailBird Heaven: –Cash Game-  The players playing are Tom “Durrrr”, Phil Hellmuth, Gus Hansen, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, David “Viffer” Peat and Patrik Antonius. It will be David Peat and Gus Hansen who will be sharing time at the table

2. Magnificent Six: Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson, Chris Ferguson, Howard Lederer and Phil Hellmuth.

3. Nets vs. Vets: –Cash Game- Online pros Taylor “Green Plastic” Caby, Cole “CTS” South and David “Raptor” Benefield. The veteran pros are Doyle Brunson, Eli Elezra and Gabe Kaplan.

4. Celebrities and Mentors: Celebrities Don Cheadle, Jason Alexander and Orel Hershiser. Mentors Barry Greenstein, Gavin Smith and Phil Gordon.

5. Hellmuth Bash:-Cash Game- Phil Hellmuth of course, Tom “Durrrr” Dwan, Phil Laak, Antonio Esfandiari, Kenny Tran and Bob Safai.

6. Dream Match 3: Amateur Arnold Thimons gets to pick his dream table and he chooses Daniel Negreanu, Jennifer Tilly, Phil Laak, Johnny Chan and The Mouth Mike Matusow.
