8,268 players entered the Poker Stars Sunday Million, creating a hefty prize pool of $1,653,600 prize pool. In the end it would be the player who entered the final table as the short stack, livelikunger, who would win the tournament and the largest payout.

The first to leave the final table would be Mexxximum1, who was all-in with [As][Kh], which was dominating chicokim’s [Ah][Qs]. Mexxximum1 would not dominate for long though, as chicokim took the lead on the flop of [Qs][10s][4h]. No king would fall on either the [Ac] turn or the [5h] river and Mexximum1 was gone in ninth place, richer by $11,575.20.
Tophandler would be the next to leave, doing so when he shoved all-in with [Ad][9d] and chicokim made the call with [Ah][10c]. Needing a nine, Tophandler saw the board fall [Ks][8s][3h][6s][6d] to seal his demise. Tophandler collected $19,016.40 for finishing in eighth place finish.
Sir_winalot9 would finish in seventh place after losing a coin flip to Kappe85. Sir_winalot9 was holding onto pocket twos when he found himself all-in against Kappe85’s [Ah][5d]. The flop of [Ks][Qd][7d] fell in Sir_winalot9’s favor, but the turn of [7h] and the river of [Kd] made two pair on the board, giving the hand to Kappe85 and his ace kicker. Sir_winalot9’s seventh place finish earned him a reward of $28,938.
g0lfa shoved all-in with [10s][9s] and needed to overcome chicokim’s [Ac][Qs] to stave off elimination. The flop fell [Ah][10c][3d] to keep chicokim in the lead, but the lead would go over to g0lfa when the turn fell [9c] to give him two pair. Then the [Ad] fell on the river to give chicokim the set to beat g0lfa’s two pair. g0lfa exited in sixth place, earning $41,340.
chicokim would be the next to fall after pitting [Ks][Qs] against U_TILT_ME’s [Qc][10c]. The flop of [8c][2s][8d] was good for chicokim, but the turn fell [5c] and the river fell [Jc] to give U_TILT_ME a runner-runner flush. chicokim finished in fifth place for a payday of $57,876.
U_TILT_ME was all-in with pocket jacks and was facing livelikunger’s [As][3h] when he exited in fourth place. The flop of [Ad][6h][5c] delivered an ace to livelikunger and that was all he needed as the turn and river fell [9s][7h]. U_TILT_ME exited in fourth place, richer by $74,412.
Kappe85 was holding onto [10s][5s] when he shoved all-in and found a caller in livelikunger and his [9s][6c]. The flop of [Jc][9c][2d] brought a pair of nines to livelikunger who would finish with a flush after the turn and river fell [Kc][Ac]. Kappe85 earned a payday of $91,774.80 for his third place finish.
Livelikunger agreed to a deal despite holding a nearly 2:1 chip lead upon entering heads-up play. The deal paid out $157,528.57 to livelikunger and $147,490.79 to dxu05 while leaving $30,000 up for grabs.
In the final hand of the tournament dxu05 moved all-in with [10c][9d] while livelikunger held [Ac][3h]. The board ran out [8d][2s][2c][5c][6d] to give the victory to livelikunger’s and his ace. livelikunger’s total payday came out to $187,528.57.
