There certainly is a lot of players that are salivating over the chance to take down this tournament because many of the top pros are saying that whoever wins this event will be considered more of a true champion than whoever wins the Main Event and the reason is because the competition is going see a very small amount of fish enter the game. Some other changes to the 2009 World Series of Poker are the popular rebuy tournaments have been taken out of the schedule and will no longer be apart of the World Series of Poker. Also due to the success of the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event final table delay, tournament officials have decided to once again delay the conclusion of the Main Event until November.
