The battle to bring online poker on mobile phones is starting to gain steam.
In the wake of iPad and iPhone friendly Switch Poker launching the first real-money site for mobile devices, Full Tilt has countered by bringing Rush Poker to Android phones.
Full Tilt has released a beta version of Rush, available to only their Black Card members. A full beta test for all Full Tilt players will be available in the coming weeks. To obtain a Black Card and be eligible to participate in such beta tests, you must get a Full Tilt account maintain a 500 FTP average for 100 days.
The Rush mobile app is flash-based, so that leaves the iPhone and iPads out in the cold. There are rumblings in the poker world that Apple won’t be allowing real money poker into the App Store anytime in the near future.
Be ready to play fast, since if you want to experience Full Tilt on your mobile device you’re going to be playing Rush Poker. For those who haven’t tried Rush Poker yet, regular Hold’em rules, but after your current action in a Rush Poker hand you are immediately seated in a new seat at a new table.
With Rush hitting Androids, the online giant Full Tilt has joined Switch Poker as the only real money poker options on mobile devices. SwitchPoker.com launched their iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch geared site on Oct. 8th.
